For the past 30 years Huggard has been providing support, help and accommodation to people who have found themselves sleeping rough on the streets of the Welsh Capital.  The Hodge Foundation has supported the Huggard Centre’s services tackling homelessness.

City Hospice

For over 35 years City Hospice has been committed to caring for people in Cardiff living with life limiting and terminal illness.  In 2018, the hospice’s ground floor was refurbished following a donation from the Hodge Foundation and a new mini bus purchased.

ALOUD Charity

Aloud exists to promote and develop choral singing as a vibrant and essential element in the cultural landscape of Wales.  The Hodge Foundation has supported the work of Aloud through their Only Boys Aloud participation and engagement programmes and in 2018, the relaunch of Only Kids Aloud.

A three-year partnership between the Hodge Foundation and Plan International UK is reducing barriers to education for more than 2,500 girls across five schools and communities in Segou, Mali.

The Hodge Foundation has supported the educational programme at St Fagans National Museum of History with a donation towards Llys Llywelyn, a recreation of a Royal Court of the Princes of Gwynedd used during the 13th century.
